Michele Brooks

Michele is originally from NY but has been living on the Northshore, specifically in the Gloucester area for the last 30 years. She graduated with a BS in Textile Design and then went on to get her Interior Design certification at the Boston Architectural College (BAC), and has a wealth of experience, practicing Interior Design for over thirty years. Michele has been an essential OL+ team member since 2000. She is one of OL+’s LEED-Accredited Professionals (LEED AP). As Principal and Director of Life Sciences, she leads commercial clients through the intricate process of laboratory and office design involving space planning and tenant fit out, guiding the countless decisions they will be called upon to make during the lifespan of a project. Michele is an Interior Design Professional Advisor for Endicott College, Beverly, MA. She established an internship program at OL+, and she takes pride in mentoring Endicott students, many of whom have gone on the develop successful careers of their own. When not working, Michele and her husband have a home that bustles with the comings and goings of her two adult children, family and friends. She is the ‘Martha Stewart of the Northshore” (except for the part where Martha spent an extended stay at a West Virginia House of Corrections!). Whether it be gardening, projects for the home, or creating gifts for others, Michele always has something interesting going on!
