The design for Enanta Pharmaceuticals' office expansion transformed the historic arsenal office building into a modern and functional space. The expanded office now boasts a range of functional areas, including a welcoming lobby, a vibrant cafe, private offices, open offices, phone booths, recreation and collaborative spaces, conference rooms, and meeting rooms. One of the standout features of the project is the third-floor event multipurpose space. Designed to adapt seamlessly to various activities and events, it can effortlessly transition from an all-hands meeting or presentation area to a large-scale conference room or event and entertainment space.
The project incorporates advanced video conferencing and meeting room technology to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the project. State-of-the-art audiovisual systems, high-quality video conferencing equipment, and interactive display solutions ensure seamless virtual meetings, presentations, and discussions. Employees can connect and collaborate effectively regardless of their location. The design approach focused on providing employees with various environments that support different work styles. Private offices offer privacy and focus, while open offices and breakout spaces promote collaboration and communication. Phone booths strategically placed near circulation points offer quiet and secluded areas for phone calls and video conferences. Recreation and collaborative spaces foster creativity and teamwork. These areas are places for relaxation, brainstorming sessions, and informal discussions, encouraging a vibrant and collaborative work culture.
Flexibility was a key consideration in the project. The third-floor multipurpose event space features flexible furniture and movable partitions that can accommodate various configurations, effortlessly adapting to the specific needs of different activities and events. Additionally, our design incorporated biophilic elements, such as natural materials, green walls, water features, and ample natural light. These elements not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the workspace but also contribute to the well-being and productivity of employees.
